We will get Warren's domestic bouts once he's contract is up with Sky, aswell as fight that wouldn't have been picked up by Sky like tonights Alvarez card. Any boxing is good boxing for me.

I dont watch football or shiz like that so Sky is quite expensive considering I only watch boxing on it. We'll get the prizefighters and everything. Commentary isnt too bad and will only improve. Mot only that but they're not as biased as the others.

You cheapskate ****s need to fix up lol
Its not really about the tenner. Its what Im getting for the tenner.

Warren has no real marquee fighters. Ricky Burns and Clevlerly? GTFO!

DeGale is the only fighter I really want to watch of his.

I dont think its worth it.

Nah lads, I'm not just talking his own fighters. He has clearly invested enough to get fights from europe aswell as the states. The Canelo card was the perfect example of what I'm on about. Sky wouldn't have got it, just like they didnt go for the Cotto-Marg rematch. No way im risking even the slight bit of lag in a stream during that fight.

For most of you, it makes sense I guess. Its nit just boxing but football, darts and so on. The numbers/bill will obviously grow and times are hard. But i can see Warren getting some good fights on BoxNation in the future, we should back him all the way, even though he's a ****.

As for prizefighter, I just chucked that in there but even a slow boxing match or an exciting quick nout is enough for me. I need boxing, simple as. A bouts a bout, no matter hiw boring u may feel some bouts are.

I'm defo subbin' to em within the next few days.

It seems that Boxnation are genuinely interested in picking up any boxing they can get hold of. I mean, literally anything they can. Which I'm all for.

Steve Bunce was saying after the Alvarez fight that the amount of fights that Sky turned down was incredible. Of course, having a lot more slots to fill.

Boxnation will pretty much be showing any Boxing that has coverage, live, at that.

I'm not over the moon about paying the £10 a month either, but it's worth it as a Boxing fan.

KEEP IT FREE TO AIR. USE ADVERTS TO PAY THE BILLS!

I love the idea of a dedicated boxing channel but I don't think it will work in the form boxnation have unfortunately decided to go down. Its going to end up as a bit of a half arsed enterprise and its dissapointing because its oh so close to being great. They should look at building up a solid fan base over time not jump right into a subscribtion service before they have developed any bit of clout. it would be easier to chase deals with the likes of top rank, golden boy, saurland etc once they have a bit of clout. While they are at it they could also show more of the old classic fights, start earlier in the day showing greats fights from 70s, 80s and 90s and so on plus **** like Tyson raw and uncut and documentaries of great past fighters they could even throw in some UFC stuff etc.

In boxnations current form it would have a better chance of bringing in money if it stayed free to air and just worked off ad revenue as it will likely only get a small number of dedicated subcribers but not enough willing to fork out the cash needed to pay the bills. I mean if people are forced to choose between paying a tener a month to watch for the most part young guys that they haven't really heard of or pay 20 for a once off haye v klitschko or pac v mayweather fight on primetime or sky box office what are the vast majority of people going to choose? We already have to pay for skysports and in the current economic climate people will not pay for sky sports + sky box office/primetime and box nation aswell.

in the end it will just mean EVEN LESS people get to see these fights because to see them all they'd have to be paying a ridicolous amount of cash. If they were all in one place a tener a month for a dedicated boxing channel would be great but they're not and you'll pay your tener and still not be able to see half the fights you want without paying for skysports too. And then when a mega fight happens you'll have to pay yet more again for box office or primetime or whatever

£2.50 a week for a dedicated boxing channel that will show 90% of the big fights is a bargain if you ask me.

Then again i'm not a little tramp like you so i can afford these things. How are you even getting an internet connection in a caravan?

good that we finally got a boxing channel and all the state side bouts, but its a pity sky didnt put in more work to get these bouts. sky are opening an F1 channel soon surely a sky boxing channel could have worked?
