How Far Can Kell Brook Go?

Wanted to gauge thoughts on Kell's potential over the next 5 years or so in the ring.

I personally feel that he has all the attributes to go a long way, along the lines of unifying divisions and possibly being a multi-weight world champion. The guy possesses great speed in his movement and accuracy of punch, the sheer number that land resulting in a favourable KO record. Defensively very sound too, with good reflexes and working behind a safe guard.

Think we can hope to see some great match ups in the future, the welterweight division is full of talent.

Fighting Luis Galarza on the Andre Ward vs Carl Froch undercard, a fight which will surely showcase him to US fight fans, as Galarza has a pretty forgettable record.

I love watching the guy. His range of punches is superb, he's agile and he's very, very fit. I think he's too much risk with not enough potential gain for somebody like Khan to want to bother with just yet.

We've never really seen him get hit.

I hope he opens up a bit against Galarza. In a couple of fights' time I'd back him all the way against Mike Jones.

He has as much as he wants to put in it. He can end up being another Eddie Futch or Orlin Sanderson

He's certainly very talented,but i think its still difficult too tell how far he can go,until he steps it up,his career has been at a very slow pace so far

Nobody got close to him on the domestic scene, and I was very impressed in the way he handled N'Dou and Jackiewicz. Matchroom are handling him very well too, they recognise that he has that crossover appeal that global fight fans want to see.

Eddie Hearn claims they are in advanced talks about a world title fight in March, which if you look at the division would most likely be against Berto. Pacquaio and Mayweather are obviously unrealistic at this moment in time, and everybody else seems to be content to let Senchenko stay in Ukraine and rack up wins against fringe contenders.

I believe Brook has the attributes to defeat Berto in what I'm sure would be a cracking fight, but only time will tell!

The only guy he would probably have to beat to justify his credentials for a world title shot is Mike Jones. They both seem to be at the same point in their careers.

However, I don't think Brook could have done much more in his career. Guys like N'Dou and Jackiewicz are 'gatekeepers' to world title shots and he beat them both in impressive fashion.

What has Berto got Brook ain't? Berto has the natural punching ability, but I believe Brook is technically better. Obviously they need to make the fight for this to hold merit.
