I do prefer American commentary to be honest. They just give off more of a feeling of excitement when a big punch lands. Not to mention there is more of a glamorous feel to a HBO or Showtime broadcast. Really feels like a big event.

I think Antonio Tarver is a great analyst and one of my fav commentators.

I don't know about anybody else but i can't stand that Max Kellerman guy. He does talk some ****!

Id rather watch it on tv than on a stream or whatever but i agree Sky / UK commentery is balls! Jim Watt does my head in, the guy is so negative and his voice drains my soul! Instead of saying something like Great punching from fighter A he'd rather go with Fighter B has zero head movement his defence sucks blah blah blah! He never seems like he enjoys the fights, enthusiasim spreads man thats why i love Bob Sheridan he has passion for the game and gets excited during the fights. Its time for a revamp at sky, Jim in particular has gotta go!

I liked Jim Watt as a fighter and he was a good fighter but as a commentator I completel agree he drives me insane.

He has an alarming obsession with work rate and 9/10 times he has the fighter who is throwing the most punches winning the fight. He even tried to imply Haye didn't beat Valeuv because he wasn't throwing many punches.

He talks nonsense alot of the time and sometimes it's clearly evident he has never seen the fighter he is commentating on fight and makes crazy statments for example during Pirog's fight with Jacobs he said things like "Pirog is an aggresive puncher and he will want to talk Jacobs down and get him against the ropes" Which is just utter nonsense.

He also says ****** things like "The ref hasn't even warned the fighter" when he blatently has and is almost always biased towards the British fighter.

I agree with you, they need to let him go.

Mind you, I dislike almost all of the Sky Commentators. Even Adam Smith who I like and alot of people do too, says the most ridiculous things at times. Same goes for Johnny Nelson.

I can't remember the other ones name who has been commentating recently on the big fights with Jim Watt I think it's John something but yeah he's an idiot aswell

Tarver is the opposite of Watt, i liked Jim as a fighter and hate his commentry where as Tarver did nothing for me in the ring but im a big fan of him behind the mike

Umm u might be thinking of John Rawling. Duke Mckenzie aint too bad but just not that great really (another fighter i liked) and Glen Mcrory is pretty whack too
