[QUOTE=Clegg;7747820]It's been an OK fight from what I've seen, but there's a lot of holding. It's interesting because it looks like it could go either way, but it's more 'gruelling gut check' than a good brawl.=QUOTE]

    Spot on.

The last couple of rounds have been great though.

I've been watching the fight with a friend who is not a big fan of boxing but as soon as he saw Paul Smith's face on his walk in he noticed the amount of scar tissue and predicted he'd cut up badly.

Mick Williamson is a genius with cuts!

Glad smith won.dodson was doing a lot of holding and seemed tired by the 8th
although he did come on strong in the last.i had it 116-111 although some rounds were hard to score

Although his last 2 fights with Quigley and Dodson weren't pleasing to the eye, i think they well do Smith good in the long run. 2 gusty hard-earned wins. He showed alot of heart there to carry on with them bad cuts and get on with the job. Think the pressure of having the bragging rights of the City showed in that fight, both were over eager and nervous of the loss.

Thought Brook looked pretty good . Even though his opponent didnt get involved really, Brook kept up the pressure while being patient. Showed a good arsenal of punches aswell.

Thought a shock was on the cards for a minute when the Moore backed up Bellew for a minute, Bellew showed some good powerfull shots though and ended it quickly.

Maccarenelli got back to winning ways again, and Paul Smith's 2 younger brothers won and remain unbeaten.

Decent night of boxing...looking forward to Pacquiao - Clottey now

Two first round KO's in a row for Enzo now, shame there wasn't time for the one tonight to be shown on tv.

Smith v Dodson was engrossing stuff and the right man won - especially when you consider he fought pretty much every minute of the fight with that brutal cut. And like Clegg mentioned, the advice given in the corner was brilliant.

Brook looked as good as he could against an opponent who clearly didn't come to fight (an amazingly negative performance considering his record) and Bellew got the job done a lot more impressively than he did in Newcastle. All in all a successful night then.

I think Pacquiao will win mate. At first i thought he might be the 1st fella to stop Clottey. But i recently re-watched Clottey - Cotto and was more impressed with him than i remembered. He's tough and has a decent defense. I would say a Pacquiao wide points win, could be competitive for awhile, but think Pacman's speed will really trouble Clottey.

ye the same sort of way

i think this fight is quite easy to predict in terms of how it goes.both guys have a set style and i think pacquioa will come out on top

id be hugely impressesd if he stopped him but i think he will win a wide UD.clotteys tendency to stop throwing punches for whole minutes of a round will hurt him against a guy as relentless as pac, however tight his guard may be

Yeah mate, good points. Clottey seemed to become in-active against Cotto and just stayed in front of him without punching quite a few times. That wont sit to will with Pacquiao's pressure.

Im a big fan of Pacquiao and hope he wins, and think it would be a very good achievment if he stops Clottey.

I like Clottey aswell though, and i hope he gives a good account of himself.

Are you staying up to watch it? Gonna be a late-ish one...hope i dont fall asleep on the couch haha.
