I can see the reasons behind it. A wealthy western nation allows for a populous of larger human beings (heavyweight sized). It is boxing crazy and doesn't have the relative competition on the national level from sports that attract heavyweight sized athletes (basketball, American football) as seen in other western nations.

Agreed. If top American NFL and NBA players still chose Boxing then I think America would be the #1 Boxing country for Heavyweights like it was for 100 years.

UK produce not only heavyweight but many boxers, it's maybe the best Country in the world for boxing, but they have to change something to maintain credibility.
Referees and judges cannot be of English nationality when an English boxer fights against a boxer from another country, they must be foreign.

Usyk and the Klitschkos are from the UK ?

          Lennox Lewis was Canadian.

As far as depth goes yes the UK is number 1

The UK most definitely has a robust representation in the heavyweight boxing division at the moment. Four of the top eight heavyweight boxers in the world are from the UK, so it's apparent that the nation is producing some very good talent. Boxers such as Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Daniel Dubois, and Joe Joyce have all made strong contributions to the division2. It's a great time for British boxing fans!

What would you say makes the UK so successful at churning out top heavyweight boxers
