Beterbiev injured, fight postponed. Beterbiev career is over and 40

Beterbiev is injured and the fight is postponed. Terrible news for Boxing. Beterbiev is almost 40 and has a long long history of injuries. His body has broke down and Beterbiev career is over.

    Sucks for Boxing.

Agreed. Sources are saying Beterbiev is having knee surgery and out until at least November. Artur should just retire.

Easy to say retire but it's not you leaving a big bag of money behind on the table

By the time he recovers and is in shape again, he will be 40. Not excited anymore and I have some doubts the fight will happen.

Beterbiev aged himself out. he was happy hiding under Arum`s umbrella for years.

And when he finally signs for undisputed fight for Saudi money...old man gets injured during his overtraining process.

Even if Bivol fights and beats him, he will get no credit for that, so who cares.

Bivol should focus on Benavidez and Morrell jr. in the future.

Beterbiev is going to be 40, coming off knee surgery and over a year of inactivity. I don't think Beterbiev should keep fighting imo. He had a great career but it's over imo. His body is broken.

People think boxers get too old to fight. Thats not true. They get too old to train.

Oh my God a boxer just turned 40. Lets forget every other bit of context and just blindly go by the numbers and conclude him done.
