Stop complaining. You playing 2nd fiddle to USA as the home of boxing because you lot aren't willing to put money into the sport, clear by the amount of threads on how you're getting ripped off etc. Fact is, USA is the epitomy of boxing because the fans PUT money BACK into the sport e.g. through buying PPV's, thus giving fighters money, helping broadcasters such as HBO make money thus we get amazing productions such as 24/7 where they can make a simple jog in the park seem intense... you guys need to change your attitudes if you want to take the helm of boxing to your country, you need to buy events and help the sport. No wonder you get poor boxers getting whipped by every other country (bar the top fighters like Ricky, Joe, Haye etc), our fighters train in the best places and in the best conditions... guys money is crucial in sport.

If you like paying $65 or whatever for a boxing event, well good luck with that, but personally, I think it's not only a rip off but it also damages boxing when the sport goes over almost entirely to subscription tv and PPV.

£15 converts to 23 dollars not 65. Stop making excuses.

no reason to complain about the deal

if/when they show Khan heading PPV cards, that's when it's time to complain (unless he's being knocked out, in which case it's well worth £15)
I agree watching loud mouth Khan getting the **** kicked out of him was worth £15 or €20

24/7 sucks. Over dramatised, over produced, and overrated.

I love how leppard365 can justify spending $55 for a weak ppv. How does it help the sport? The price makes it inaccessible to the average boxing fan in hard times like this. The money made from ppv's like this does not go back into boxing it goes into HBO'S, Pac's and De La Hoya's pockets. If a fighter is going to make $10-20m and charge extortionate prices for a ppv it should at least be a worthwhile fight. Pac vs De La Hoya is a circus act. Just realise that when you pay for this on saturday you are killing boxing not helping it.

I would rather watch the Froch vs Pascal world title fight on ITV for free. The fighters won't be making huge amounts of money but a few hundred grand will keep them going for a few years and allows the television networks to afford to show new boxing cards. Setanta sports which is available for £10 a month shows most of the big American cards and most of the big British ones for free. I beleive HBO charge for a monthly subscription and then ppv's on top of that? If so that is ridiculous.

I would rather be in my shoe's than yours.

haha ok and you remain watching crappy fighters like Appleby and whatever other bums you have there, damn I saw some of your shows and the world of boxing is so damn poor in your country, boxers look like hillbilly's, stadiums look cheap, every fighter apart from a few elite brits would get owned over here in the USA.

                    haha what an idiot

When was the last time 55,000 Americans turned out to watch a boxing match?

Carl Froch gets attendances of 10,000 fighting bums, I really doubt our boxing scene is "poor".
