TRUTH, hopkins can make anyone look like ****, he knows how to fight his fight against almost any style. I hate UDs though, I hope joe fights again and has a better performance.

I don't feel let down by Joe at all, in fact I feel prouder than ever. He was fighting someone who would make Muhammed Ali look bad, but still came through and got the job done. He got himself off the canvas and showed tremendous courage and slowly, but surely boxed his way back into contention. I am seeing a lot of posts bringing up Hopkins age, which I expected, but Hop was in great shape and still a formidable fighter. With last nights win, Joe has cemented his legacy as one of the greatest British fighters of all time IMO.

I dont feel let down at all!!

How can anyone look good against the fight Hopkins put on last night...i dont think he made a single forwards step and wouldnt throw a punch unless it was a counter..in the end that lost him the fight..

Joe out worked him in the end, judges like aggression and Hopkins showed NONE.

I had Joe winning by 2...it was close one but NO DOUBT it was Joe's fight.

Thats bull**** mate. Hopkins has been a spoiler his whole career and thats why I have always hated watching his fights. He is the most negative fighter in boxing. Its nearly impossible to look good against him. Plus he was far bigger than Calzaghe. Joe couldnt boss the fight. I was happy with Joe because he dealt with Hopkins spoiling tactics well enough and better than most others. I feel Hopkins was the disgraced one for his antics over the 'low blow'. I hope that he disappears now because I think he is bad for the sport. A total mouth and far far too negative.

i think you will find it was Joe Calzaghe who won

just wipe your mouths and move on, we had to when Mayweather hammered Hatton, the only fighters that get gifted decisiond in Vegas are Americans

Yeh Calzaghe didn't perform well, but if you can win on a
bad performance then you're a truly great fighter!! CALZAGHE!!!!!!!!

Its just the whole 'score on aggression and ignore whos actually landing' thing that judges do in vegas.

I thought the stats showed that Calzaghe outlanded Bernard Hopkins anyway!

i was not impressed by Joe at all. It was B Hops fight. Joe only got in flurry's of slaps when he could.

I don't I exspected a slow and cagey and scrappy fight and I got it.

I also exspected to see Joe calzaghe beat B hop on points... And I got it.

You got to remember everyone looks **** against hopkins thats what he does and thats what happened now calzaghe should fight pavlik.
