Cotto has fought a very respectable level of competition. However, the way he was stunned a few times by Judah and nearly KO'd by Corley I don't see him having a real shot vs. Mayweather. Floyd takes him out in 8 or 9.

You're forgetting Cotto TKO those two boxers and the Corley fight was nearly two years ago and he has come a long way since then. He shouldn't have any trouble against Mayweather, the fight will probably go unanimous decision for Cotto or KO by Cotto but Mayweather isn't going to win.Originally posted by JC Warrior View PostComment

I am a Cotto fan. But I dont think there is any way that Cotto would beat Floyd. Everyone has a punchers chance, but thats about it in this case. Floyd is just too fast, too slick, and too skilled.Comment

What fighter has not been stunned? PBF was also stunned by Chop Chop... luckily for floyd it was at the end of a round. Judah knocked Mayweather down, and has respectable power and speed. Cotto demolished, absolutely demolished judah, a fighter that gave Mayweather lots of trouble. Considering all of these occurences that people refer to about Cotto being so hurt, he has only been knocked down once, and that KD was more like a push. So if cotto's chin was that much of a concern, why hasnt he lost? why has he only been KD once, and a questionable one at that?
Mosely is a very game, very experienced, very talented, powerful, well rounded fighter, and he looked uncomfortable and outclassed against Cotto.

Mayweather what????
Lets start by saying the whole pound by pound issue is just a publicity thing. The only real way to know whos the POUNDxPOUND is everybody fighting everybody.
Floyd Mayweather is a very talented fighter. He is also a very dedicated guy who trains like nobody else. But lets be real, Who was Hatton??? HOW did he became a mandatory challenger??? He had only one other fight in 147lbs and many people agree he lost that fight against an average figther. He has no defense. Hatton has a lot of heart, but thats about it.
How can Floyd be called the best ever??? He fought Oscar Delahoya who everybody says is past his prime and Oscar was winning the fight until "somehow" decided to stop using the jab so Floyd could do his thing. Floyd won a SPLIT desicion but didn't convince anyone. Plus, once Oscar stop really fighting it became a very boring fight. Haven't seen Floyd in a real fight since Castillo. Did he win that fight?? hhmmm....sure.
Judah knock him down but they didn't counted it. Plus, Couldn't knock Judah out. Couldn't knockout Sosa or Corley either. I don't know if Cotto can beat him. But I know Cotto Knocked out all of these guys. Some may say the corley fight was stopped too soon. But what is a referee suppose to do when a fighter put his knee in the canvas everytime he gets hit?????
