I think Young is a little mis-understood. He wasn't that fast, but he had an excellent defense for sure. A mis-managed fighter.

I agree. he was quick, which is a refined quality, but not really fast and mismanaged.

Quickness: Throwing shots with no telegraphing, economically...
Fast: Roy Jones, Ali, etc... raw speed of delivery.
