And because Butterbean only fought past 4 rounds twice in his career and only once past 6 rounds and that was against Larry Holmes in Holmes' last career fight when Holmes was 52. Tyson fought McNeely because it was his first fight coming out of prison and it was an easy tuneup before eventually fighting major belt holders in the heavyweight division.
