As Bundana said. I think that a standard New Years party starts with the queens speech to the nation at 6 pm. Then great fine food and the best wines from the cellar. At 11.30 it’s the sketch of the 90th birthday and then champagne and fireworks to celebrate the new year.

So fairly standard I think.

Akvavit and smørrebrød is reserved for Christmas lunches through December.
