not at middleweight ....you cannot make stuff up to suit your agenda lol
Canelo ran away from golovkin and was actually forced to drop a belt because he didn’t want to face him....and cotto refused to fight him.
Golovkin agreed a 164 with ward but ward said no to which you conveniently left out lol
But I'll play along. What middleweight P4P fighters ran away from?Comment

The belt was the WBC, ever hear of it?
He weren't forced , he did the ditching in a dispute with El Puerco Para Vida, Son of Jose dictating purse splits and timelines, ever hear of him?
In the middle of a lawsuit by All Star Boxing, Canelo original promoter when Oscar signed him as an 18 yd phenom, ever hear of him?
That resulted in a $5 mil liability judgement against Canelo, not Oscar, ever hear about it?
El Puerco came crawling back with apologies as did GGG for the first fight, ever hear about it?
And the rest all about Canelo making history, U ever study it?
Well?Comment

Then we have lower tier with sturm and Saunders.
The point I’m trying to make is golovkin never had the depth of competition that other champions had in there era or do you also disagree with that lol...which is why I said he makes top 10 but would be higher if had a few P4P on his resume.

- -This outlier was planted specifically for controversy as her history shows.
A routine bad decision that boxing eats up in their shell game.
That U can't see how inane blaming her for having the only Canelo scorecard when another judge had the only draw card and the other one had the only Golvkin card speaks volumes to U poor cognitive function.
We all know it was a close fight, and a draw (which happened) was reasonable. I am not BLAMING her for having the only Canelo card, just pointing out that the ONLY Canelo card posted the judge was reprimanded (simply a spin tactic to point to that GGG probably deserved the fight).
Most people had G winning, and you yourself have alluded to there being shenanigans.Comment

Then, immediately after fighting G, he went up a weight class; showing that he probably had the capability to fight at that weight beforehand.
The fact is, since 2017 he has fought the majority of his fights above the MW limit.Comment

My point is you can't complain about Golovkin not having depth of competition but then ignore that he refused to fight the one P4P guy that was willing to face him. You can't be so quick to blame others for "avoiding" him then completely ignore when he himself avoided.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 12-24-2020, 12:34 PM.Comment
