Some things are better defined through comparison... If you tell me a Black kid who was raised by an abusive family, was kicked out, and shot another kid is "really evil." There is no singular thing that makes an ATG, there is consensus... If I say Gatti was great, I would get some acquiescence for sure... But I guarantee you ultimately it would come out that, while he was a great presence, he was not a great fighter. Not for any particular reason either...

Your asking me to do the equivalent of prove a negative... It does not make sense logically to do so anymore than trying to set up a textbook criteria for ATG status.

This is what I thought of...well to be specific, I was wondering who were the Elites that Floyd was supposed to fight.

We know he tried to fight Mosley earlier, as well as Pacquiao. The thing is when certain posters are presented with the proof of this, they would just rather lie and pretend the information presented doesn't exist. It's really annoying. I can't think of any elite that he was meant to fight that was also willing to step in with him.

I agree with this. That precisely was the reason Ghost and I got into our disagreement. He didn't like me defending Floyd in some threads and went on the attack, even bringing up Floyd in conversations I had that had nothing to do with Floyd.

Then I pointed out that the two aren't that different in regards to allegations:

Allegations of spousal abuse...check.
Allegations of cheating...check.
Allegations of ducking...check.


The funny thing is that when you look at the facts, besides the spousal abuse, seems Floyd is more easily exonerated. Not so much Dempsey.
