  • Teofimo Lopez in the firmament of all time

Since Lopez beat the overrated Lomachenko some will say he is among the greats already. Despite a paucity of pro fights.

But isn't it more intelligent to wait until a career is over, before considering a fighter's historical standing?

What we can do at this point is guess, which keeps it fun, and we get to exercise our powers of speculation.

He seems to have a need to express his opinion on everything. And unless he quickly receives the accolades he thinks he deserves from writers & fans, he will soon begin raging on that subject, I venture to say. Every ATG has to prove he can take a hell of a shot. Chenko is not a big puncher, and his elbows were far too short for Lopez. The mexican has almost everything left to prove.

After the biggest win of his career and then getting surgery to fix micro fractures and ligament damage in his right foot, does this kid take a well deserved break?

Hell no. He's right back in the gym grinding.

Hahahaha! Only in Boxing does this pass as impressive.

Jersey has a phenomenal Wrestling bedrock. What we had there was on par with what we had in Western PA. I wonder if taco's daddy ever even let him near a mat. Almost certainly not.

          The Mexican? Taco?

Is that what this is all about for you two? Race? No wonder there was a rush to elevate Lomachenko and why Floyd can never do enough to get any credit.

          The agenda is becoming clearer.

Considering ones historical standing is always some sh^t mfers who've never been hit in the head love to overly focus on for whatever reason.

All Teo or anyone else can do is be among the best of their day & fight now Teo has shown he is that. Whether this is his career highlight or the first chapter in his story is left to the future to decide.

Floyd didn't win championships across three divisions in a dozen fights. He also struggled with guys like Maidana and Castillo. And he never took on a risk like Loma did in pursuing the Lopez fight.

Floyd simply isn't on Loma's level, neither in pure skill nor in courage.

Floyd obviously has the wrong skin color for you.

Nothing you say about him can be taken seriously, unfortunately.
