Does RObinson rank below Carmen BAsillio and Joey Maxim?

Does Bob Foster rank below Doug Jones?
It's against forum rules to have an alt account, Rusty Tromboni.

      Have you ever Boxed?

Can you tell me what Rigo does WRONG?

Can you even tell me what Rigo does RIGHT?

Who did Robinson face as good as Rigo?

You do know that Artie Levine almost KO'd RObinson, correct?

You know that Joey Maxim STOPED Robinson. And Gene Fullmer defeated RObinson twice.

Have you even seen anyone as bad as Gene Fullmer fighting today?

Campbell was an olympic champion, and had the physical size and void defense to really trouble Lomachenko, but Loma figured him out too. I am not aware of Ray fighting anyone that much larger than himself. He had his hands full with LaMotta, though... that 6th fight is the anomaly of the series. Jake wasn't fit to fight that night.

Maxim wasn't very good. Lopez is scary.

That was RObby's first and LAST fight at Light Heavyweight - in fact, Joey MAxim RETIRED him (temporarily). Lomachenko has a very impressive track record at Lightweight, and don't be surprised if he's the betting favorite in the rematch.

Both Lomachenko and RObinson pursued poor strategies early on. But Lomachenko at least adjusted and took over.

Ray suffered for having to fight a 15 round fight. Lomachenko suffered for NOT having a full 15 round fight.

Natural Featherweights have historically been almost completely shutout from becoming successful at Lightweight. Conversely a great number of Middleweights have done very well at Light Heavyweight AND ABOVE: Fitzsimmons, Langford, Harry Greb, Mickey Walker, Billy Conn, Archie Moore, **** Tiger, Roy Jones, Chris Byrd, James TOney, Bernard Hopkins. A lot of those are old timers, look them up for real insight into Boxing history.

While Robinson never fought anyone as good as Lopez, he was STOPPED by Maxim. Lomchenko was never at risk of being stopped, and actually lost the fight by throwing away early rounds - he took back the fight by going on offense against the bigger man.

I feel bad schooling you, without knowing you. But I gotta state the facts.
You're not an alt at all

you have virtually no perspective on the fighters you mention. Fullmer was akward and very dangerous. There is plenty of information on him... But you won't look at it. It is pointless even trying to explain why LaMotta was so good to someone like you.

You make excuse after excuse for LOma who lost to two opponents who were larger, but ignorantly state that the heat had nothing to do with Maxim beating Ray...

In a word? you are a casual fan with no shame and an attitude. So you come in this section and harang away... Your a bad joke with no punchline, and you are also a racist. White fighters who were excellent become ATG's to you and Black Fighters who were ATG become flawed and unable...

Why don't you learn from Adam and Eve and get a concept of shame? for all of our sake... Idiot.

Hey, halfwit, Fullmer was one of the best middleweights ever.

He is certainly one of the top stylists ever. Jersey Joe and Canizales would be his competition for style.

Good luck to this red with the right attitude against the loud mouthed mexican giant.

                  - -Oops, Loma now something like 430-3 for his entire boxing career.

Time for a petition to strip him of his 2 Olympic gold medal and every win.

0-3 BUM, so now we in lowbrow fetid brew territory, all praise be!

Well, we certainly shouldn't be putting him in the firmament based on his body of work. He's not among the immortals.

But you can put him in the amateur boxing Mt. Rushmore if you like.

                      - -Loma clowned pro boxing in the farce of Salido/Laurence Cole for his debut.

After not even attempting to make wt by Salido using dozens of lowblows , hitting on the break suckers, rabbits and headbutts in the end needed Cole to pull off Loma repeatedly to keep him from knocking out Siri.

No rematch by Siri at any wt. and now no rematch by Lopez.

Turning lucrative rematches for le$$er fights ain't part of great fighter mentality.
