What If: Ali-Liston II had been allowed to continue?

. . . considering the two minutes of action we did get, and the subsequent 10 seconds of fighting after the knockdown, how do you think this fight would have played out?

Liston would have taken his dive in the following round.

Before this rematch, there was another one scheduled. Liston had prepared himself and trained hard. I think he believed he'd be allowed to win. Ali suddenly backed out of the rematch with a hernia and the fight was postponed.

Both fights were investigated by boxing commissions and the FBI. No evidence of a fix was found.

Ali was even more hyped up and Liston didn't have a will to win in that fight. I don't think there was a fix or dive. Liston just had the mental and physical disadvantage(sounds crazy considering his physical stats but it's true) and Ali was destined to win that night.
