If Duran was prime as a middleweight, would he beat LaMotta? This would be a great match up.

The Duran that fought the night as a underdog against Barkley who put on one of his best shows in a losing cause would be tougher than you think .Barkley was a huge aggressive middleweight and Duran was at his best vs aggressive brawlers and offensive minded fighters.

Hands of stone if you’re talking about Duran at his prime but as a middleweight.

He was more talented as a boxer than LaMotta but no one gets knocked out that’s for sure!

Both got top 15 Chins of all time

                  - - The way I figure, Roberto could go thru muy mas cuisine of Jake than could Jake could of Roberto cuisine, so Jake to retire with no mas tummy cramps sooner rather than later.

I agree with this but would add that Jake was a very underrated boxer and better than Barkley all around. Duran turned back the clock that night, I don't think he could do that with LaMotta.
