    Why No Legacy Belt.

By buggery, there is a regular belt, and interm belt, a super belt, an emeritus belt, a diamond belt....

But there is no Legacy belt? What is this? I call on Suliman to fix this egregious error before boxing has to suffer more embarrassment.

Suliman, do the right thing and create a legacy belt. If you already have, then I abjectly apologize, Sully.

Give us a legacy belt as soon as possible!

Is the Legacy Belt to be awarded to a retired fighter who had a great career but never won a belt? You know, it's like a lifetime achievement award for actors who never won and Oscar and will soon die.

(If it is rewarded to a former champion then that would be redundant with the 'emeritus belt.' So you can't get the Legacy Belt if you ever held a title.)

    or

The Legacy Belt is awarded to the offspring of a champion regardless if the child could fight or not. (You know it's the same as letting an unworthy rich kid into a major university because his father attended.)

    or

What the hell is a Legacy Belt?

Regardless I support the Legacy Belt!

If we try hard enough, add a few more weight classes, several more sanctioning bodies, and then a Legacy belt we could possibility reach a point when every fight will be for a title.

    Color me in.

It is good to have a few contenders sprinkled among the champions. It is only right.
