Florida is one of the most f ucked up places in the world. But the football program is filled with innovative individuals. Gatorade and Nautilus Circuit training. Just great thinking and development

      - -If all you drank was Gatorade/sports drinks most would die of dehydration.

Sorta like all you eat was meat would be for most a slow suicide.

TRAINING is used to stimulate the body to change. When you are training and drinking masses of Gatorade? On a cellular level you are actually making things TOO easy for your body. Training is essentially a acute stressor, which then your body ether adapts to by becoming 'Stronger, faster, more efficient etc' Taking pre -workouts, OR drinking fancy sugar laden drinks stacked full of antioxidants, actually lessens the stress adaptation mechanism upon the body.

If you want to feel good while training go ahead, drink the pre-workouts and sugar laden drinks etc All athletes are doing is making their stress-adaptation mechanism less efficient.

You would want to replenish electrolytes primarily after training, that is what I believe 'Electrolytes are in water, it is mainly the sugars and antioxidants that basically are making athletes soft'

Training has become EASIER for athletes, THEY have it easy these days.

          During or before workout, training.

You just need a little water not to dehydrate. If you get a mouthful you need to spit it out.
To much water and I promise it will slow you down or worse case scenario you'll some how
          cramp up some where.

When your done, then of course you can grab more.
