If you do the technique properly you can reach close to terminal velocity by the time you reach his knackers

The hardest hitting punches are to the groin, thats just the natural tenancy of proper power mechanics

It's just ye old groin fixation again, lad. Sounds like you've got the power munchies.

              Little Alex...

When the groin is hit hard it goes upward. The real painful strikes are snapping, whipping strikes to the groin.

Fighters such as Mike Tyson, David Tua, Rocky Marciano, Evander Holyfield 'Are the first fighters that I immediately strike me as having great power mechanics'

Lennox Lewis has quite good mechanics also, with technical shots 'Body Shots, Hooks, Uppercuts, Jabs etc'

I like the way Callum Smith throws his power punches. Specially when intercepting as the opponent throws a combination.

Inoue has some great power generation. Nonito's left hook is about as picture perfect as you can get with amazing power recruitment from feet to the head. Sometimes it's wide but when you look at it all the way through, his left hook despite being wide, recruits power all the way from the feet to his head staying still and letting the hook carry him through.

Wilder has those windmill punches so yeah he's mechanically generating great power but at -1 technique but it works, so that's that.

I like Them_Apples' post about it as well.

Jack Dempsey could launch a full grown man
I was unclear. I didn't mean Dempsey's punching power was strained; I agree he was a beast. I only meant that Dempsey's power of description, i.e. the falling baby analogy, was strained.

It is hard to capture physical motion and power in words: hard for us the spectators and equally hard for the fighters themselves.

Who has the tightest coilers, kid? Have you asked yourself if the hardest punches coil?
