Please tell me, when did Calzaghe low-blow Hopkins?

We all know how Ward avenged his loss to Kovalev.
You know that joe low-blowed hopkins in round 2 to avoid getting stopped inside 2 rounds by a 43 year old. It would have been a worse loss than Haye getting stopped by old Thompson if joe hadnt cheated.

Joe is quoted as admitting to it so dont get funny.

One of joes problems was he that in his eurolevel wbo reign he got used to thinking what he said in local press wouldnt reach global exposure.I expect he forgot he was world level now.

ward landed one borderline blow just as the fight was being waved off, done deal by then.

That said, I have zero trouble labelling all three dirty, they were!

      !
      - -Yeah, if you were an 8 yr old schoolboy you can be excused for not watching that fight

And not knowing why they were calling Joe Slappy Joe after his hands broke to bits by his end.

Never seen a growed man crawling around yelping like a kicked cur.

I have since reviewed all Popkins fights since then and yelping like a kicked cur was a regular part of his repertoire including his very last fight.

Fat dan goes easy on Popkins, but do pay attention to the timeline of events so you won't look so stoopid next time.

I dont care mate, all three were dirty as I said, I got no issue with that fact, deal with it yourself if its an issue for you.

All were solid world class and elite at times, in my eyes.

You'll find someone on here to argue with, keep looking.

As pitiful as Hopkins theatrics were, it's even more pitiful that he wasn't DQ'd for it.

I always cheered for Hopkins. But that fiasco stained his legacy.

why would you always cheer for him, hes always been, and increasingly, dirty.

The only times hes piqued my interest is when he started doing the feats of age thing, still competing when his physical attributes were on the fade.

              - -Like when Pascal accused Popkins of using HGH?

Popkins part of the dirty Golden Boy/TUE 50-0 empire that kicked off the most nonsensical PEDs charges in history including pushing for Olympic style testing they never implemented.

I'd pick Calzaghe in a close one.

Ward also punches very accurately and would make Joe think twice. Joe never fought guys that could do as many things as Ward can to beat you... Or I should say he fought them when they were limited by age. Ward makes it look fairly easy.
This sums it up perfectly. Good post Bill!

How do you figure Ward ducked Hopkins? This is categorically false. Hopkins is on record plain as day saying he would never make a right with Ward.

                      - -When was that made?

As I recall by the language in the print, he was quite irate Ward wouldn't take the bait right around the 168-175 transition.

How many times did TUE say he wasn't fighting PAC, a dozen?
