I'm not sure how to categorize this guy as a boxer. As a person he was definitely crazy. I've watched a few of his fights and he rarely threw a jab. Just an ultra aggressive dude with a lot of anger and kill or be killed attitude. If he had lived and stayed in the game how would he have done against Pac-Man or maybe Mayweather?

Both would have beaten him. Mayweather would have played with him, Pacquiao was just too fast. Valero had some defensive flaws as he moved up in class.

He definitely wasn’t the mindless brawler like many believed. Ive followed this dude since 2004 and Valero was a skilled brawler-Boxer-puncher.

Back when he was with Teiken fighting in Japan, he and honda had an agreement where he would receive 100k for every first round KO. That’s why he appeared to be a crude fighter but he really had alot more dimensions to his game.

Valero would have put Pacman to sleep and Maidana would have carried his spit bucket. Valero would have absolutely destroyed him.

Valero-Floyd Im still on the fence.

He would have lost to both. Badly. He was too slow and not difficult to hit at all. Watch his last fight.

TUE would soil himself. Valero was some kinda scary other world monster.

Perfect 27-0 with 27 KOs is a perfect cube of 3 that no other fighter will ever obtain. He chose how and when he was gonna check out to that other world. TUE ain't the brightest, but he'n Daddy would pick up the danger and run for the hills.

May and Pac would have beaten him easily.

That I didn't know. Makes it somewhat clearer why he was so aggressive.

I wonder if Brunson had that agreement for 10 dollars a KO
