Did some fool say Briggs was doing well until his Asma kicked in . REALLY !!!!!
I thought conditioning would be a asset in Boxing.
With that said for whatever it’s worth I think Lewis Destroys the comeback George in about 5 rounds.
The early years maybe last 10.
The problem George would have is experience. People do some research, George Foreman has virtually zero amateur career. Yes he won Gold in 68 , but he just overwhelmed his opponents with power. There was no plan B or C for George until comeback career. Lennox reach and his right hand over the top of George jab lands all night long. People talk about Lennox Glass jaw. Ok he got knocked out twice. That means he has a glass jaw, Rahman could hit with anybody and The Atomic Bull Oliver McCall had big time pop.
George was a mauler but his pure boxing abilities were limited. Unlike most I saw Lewis live multiple times.
3 of those times I was with in 25 feet of the ring. Lewis punching power was second to none. He hit Ray Mercer with some right hands that still to this day I don’t know what kept Ray upright. I was ringside for the Tommy Morrison fight , if that is what you call it . Listen folks either of those guys had the power George had .
It's all ones opinion, and that is mine.

yeah its all a conspiracy of course! The witch doctors all got together yup thats what happened....

There is nothing funnier than watching you of all people calling others out. By the way Foreman himself admits he was none to smart and had growing to do... Hence the break and come back, but the boob knows best!!
      - -everything documented from Dundee loosening the ropes to George Plimpton screaming out a minute into the fight that it was a fix, to me seeing the fight for the first time thing George had been drugged to Saddler conspiring with Dundee and Ali on how to beat George and so on an so forth.

Yeah, I'll let you drink your own recycled koolaid. Your choice.

        - -did we just hear some fool denigrating George for his lack of AMA experience that saw him annialate pro Soviets and Cubans at the high altitude of Mexico City?

What, you rate Lennoc having to repeat 4 years as superior?

Like I said, you can't fix ******, but at least they neuter dogs and cats and livestock in their proper place in the animal kingdom.

Queensburied why so angry and full of insults.
Listen here lad George didn’t have enough experience early in his career to take a guy like Lennox out, it’s justs that simple.
George runs out of gas in like 9-10 round. With that said the first 4 rounds is Big George best chance to catch Lennox . Foreman did blow out Chuck Wepner and George Chuvalo early, and those 2 blokes could take a punch. Chuvalo might’ve had the best chin in Heavyweight history. The Frazier destruction speaks for it self.
What worries me is after 12-16 minutes of pugilistic action I feel the fights over and Lewis wins.
          And that’s that

Plimpton what a source! So after drugging George Just to make sure they also....loosened the ropes? But who needs proof of these monumental accusations right?

Hey take it easy buddy...You would be bitter also if you could not wear a hat because your head came to a point. Queeny can't even keep his glasses on, his ears are reaaal small, and his eyes stare out to the sides anyhow...

Someone asked why he was turning blue and it turns out he thought Oxygen was a conspiracy. Speaking of which...Queeny maintains that we could easily go to the sun if we went at night.

Well, I wouldn't go quite that far ...

Trouble is, most of the time George spent "growing" involved chucking 22oz steaks at his "lean mean fat burnin' machine".

                  - -12-16 is all George would need to flatten Lenny.

Ain't George's fault that at age 19 Lenny still in headgear and pillows scraping out 3 rounders.

T'is what it is, and like Humpty Dumpty, they could never put Lenny together again

Ok ok... On the first quoted post, I retract that Mugsy is sane: But the other part of the post stands

                      Ok seriously Queenie two questions:

Don't you maintain that Vitali is a good fighter? How would you compare Vitalie's assault on Lewis with what Foreman could do?

Second question: Lewis had, as a relative strength, fighting big men. He did very well against bigger opponents. Do you think this figures into the equation?

My inclination would be to take Foreman, but Lewis never lost a fight to a fellow big man and showed that when he is determined he can get into a punch out. I do think Foreman hits harder than Vitalie but when we have precedent we should look at it.

PS: Not implying that Vitalie beat Lewis!
