I have run into some bad luck with health becoming a main issue.
Here's my latest "resume" to shorten this thread and put it into perspective.
Oct 27 Colon Cancer not to serious a quick help to lighten up the "Divers" I've been struggling with for a few years.
Dec. 23 Lung Cancer with a robot twist to detach my lung from smashed ribs some 20 years prior to cancer. Things went well for a 7 hour adventure (I was sleeping)
Dec. 29 the amount of bed and chair use was extreme so we decided to go for a complete hip replacement. They found the same Cancer under ever spec of hip so that become a problem during the operation. Got it cleaned out and the Sarasota Mem. Hospital staffs are the best I've encountered. The poor med choices I had received throughout the months was wearing me out. The staff at the Sarasota Mem. detoxed me in the hospital and replace every singe med in use at the rehab that came close to destroying me.
Finally heading for Moffitt Cancer in Tampa in the end of Jan. I was told I was FREE of the disease........................:wank: yeah

Not true from the mighty Moffitt into Radiation and Chemo right now! I feel pretty good other than fatigue being the biggest problem. I use a walker when outside my home no matter what and scoot around in my wheel chair at home.

I think of children's burn wards and how 6 year old kids fight the fight, I'm with them! I'll be ok thanks for the inquiries from Jaded and Young John Scully.
Ring the damn Cancer Bell I'm right here ready.
It come after me 20 years ago too and took a kidney back then. I'm 5-0 vs Cancer.
Not bad! It's invisible at the beginning!

Hey fellows try not to degrade fighters by calling them cowards and all the silly nonsense that goes on here far to much. It helped me not miss the old joint.

    bless to you, health too,
    Ray Corso
I'm sorry to hear of your ill health Ray.

Keep fighting it as hard as you can.

    My thoughts are with you.

I always enjoy reading your great posts.

    Take care my friend.

      Ray

Have missed your presence terribly my friend... Every day I wake up and expect my two dogs to attack me (get me up) the wife to have coffee ready, and the day when Ray is back in the history section.

When we live a life worth living, we are hard on the hardware... your spirits sound up and I have faith that your piss and vinegar reservoir is full!

Really look forward to hearing from you again Ray, wishing you the best of course, oh and here is a medical tip: watch out for Polish doctors....have a bit of the Polish in me as well. I went into the hospital with a headache? Polish doctor wanted to amputate!

      With affection, respect and sympathy

      Darrell

        God bless you Ray.

Damn, respect brother. Sending you love & positive vibes to stay free of doctors beyond check ups for a long while after that bad recent run.

                The Legendary Ray Corso.
Always enjoy the great stories you tell about watching fighters train and what not.
Guys like you and my late Uncle Rudy would be able to tell stories about all the great fights.
I remember years back saying hey Uncle Rudy did you see Tommy Hearns vs Roberto Duran yesterday on CBS, he would say Hearns is good but he ain’t no Basilio.
No mater what fighter I brought up from 147 to 160 he always said , “ He’s good But ain’t no Basilio.
All the best , On your battles.
                Keep punching Ray Corso!!!!
                All the Best ,
