Wlad had better power but Vitali was the smarter fighter with a better chin. Vitali is underrated - his only two losses were due to injury / cuts and he was leading in both fights.

As for the original post, uh....Ali would slice up a prime Wlad. Too fast, too quick and too much movement. As Marchegiano said, Ali would throw angles at Wlad who doesn't move well side-to-side.
