He would have an awful time with today's featherweights--since they are super featherweights and lightweights--but would probably beat them anyway. He would dominate today's super bantamweights because he is an ATG featherweight.
Salvador Sanchez...... How would he fare/fair today..

agreed, but I'm seeing powerful young punks, on super red bull things.

A wonderful fighter. One of my personal 4 or 5 favorites of all-time.
It’s so sad he went so young. He accomplished a lot though. I would rank him #4 all-time Mexican, between 3-5 all-time at 126, somewhere from 11-13 all-time Latino and somewhere from 50-60 all-time p4p.Comment

yeah for his age he was a massive talent and had a very mature style. I don't understand how good he was for that age, he must have started boxing when he was 2 years old and had a good brain to begin with and a burning desire for boxing.
He was a very smart fighter, and tbh pretty big at 126.
He had some crossover opponents with Chavez and he seemed about as big as Chavez. fighters back in the day trained down in weight though and didn't lift weights, so they didn't carry excess weight on the chest or thighs.Comment

I’d take Sal over any fighter today from 122-135 and that includes Loma. I have a ton of respect for Loma’s skill so that’s saying a lotComment

Sanchez was a beast and he achieved greatness at an early age. The Nelson fight was classic. Forever rest in peace!Comment
