Yeah when the movie Cinderella Man first came out, a news story was released at the time about how angry he was over the portrayal of his father in that movie. He didn't like his dad being portrayed as a villain, as he was never like that in real life, saying Ron Howard turned Baer into Clubber Lang from Rocky 3.

Now and then I find these lines listed in the category "Funny Max Baer (Sr) quotes". I first read it in a boxing mag long ago and for some years I believed ‘Jethro’ was one of Baer Sr:s nicknames.

I know, but for some reason, I didn�t make the connection. I read it a long time ago, but kinda doubted it. I know a few behar(***s like me)
