Some people who post on here are absolute jokers, how could you just insult someone and have nothing objectively to say. Oh his win wasn’t as good as his best win. Queensbury

While Douglas fought an excellent fight vs. Tyson, Tyson would have been beaten on that night by other top heavyweights; Douglas simply happened to be in the right place at the right time. Had the Bowe of November 13, 1992* fought Tyson at that time I suspect the fight would have ended much sooner.
*I assume you're referring the Bowe who beat Holyfield the first time; while Bowe did beat Holyfield in their 3rd fight this was an inferior version of Bowe; his victory in that fight was likely due to Holyfield having hepatitis A and foolishly choosing to fight while ill.
With the two versions given I'll take Bowe by late stoppage. Buster had very good skills and was great on that one night. Tyson was tailor made for him though. Douglas wouldn't be able to control the tempo and range with Bowe because Rid**** was just as big as Buster and craftier with his punches. He was also more resilient and the better better inside fighter. Douglas was a talented fighter who under achieved his entire career except that night he caught lightning in a bottle. Bowe was an under achiever as well. But he had more fortitude and toughness. That would make the difference here in my opinion. I think out of these versions, Bowe gets a late stoppage
--- Never before heard craftiness being associated with Big Dummy.
He was positively Einsteinian when he spun Field into the ropes for a clean right to the back of his billy goat noggin to knock him out...only in boxing!
Both fighters looked to suffer from emotional (if not mental) issues that affected their ring performances; both had the skills necessary to defeat the other; who is better prepared mentally, who comes to fight that night, would likely win the day.
Tall, rangy super heavy that matches Bowe in size that's relatively mobile and throws tight combinations....Bowe beats Douglas on most nights, but this night, Douglas could have very well beaten Bowe
