Without chin a fighter fails on the journey upward. They can have everything else, but without a chin they fail at some point. Chenko has more tools than almost anyone. If he has a great chin, he will be an ATG. Pretty simple. Taking the chances entailed by constantly swinging on your opponent is risky business. Anyone behaving like that will get tagged good from time to time. He got tagged good and survived it well. That augurs brightly for his future.
Lomachenko is greater than Harry Greb

--- time for a reality check:
Loma generally accorded as the best AMA ever. His only double gold medal competitor got all the shine whooped off him and he exposed the filth of pro boxing with the Salido bout.
He could suffer a first rd KO in his next fight and retire a highly regarded ring great.
As to Greb, these guys can only do what they do in their time frame. They weren't sitting around preening their greatness, but instead seized their moment like the few treasured fighters, so maybe take a moment to enjoy what few can comprehend in the moment.
We are here today, but gone tomorrow in the infinite spectrum of time.Comment

Loma is special and might go on to surpass Grebb who knows but as for rn.

Greater how? We're talking vastly different eras, different rules, different equipment, different businesses, different number of fights per year, different criteria for judging rounds, different divisions, different opponents.
Different everything. Let's see how Loma's professional career unfolds, what's left of it (probably not very many years, thanks to that long amateur run.) He's looking smallish at LW, got knocked down. Let's see how he does against Mikey Garcia.
Greb was fighting guys that outsized him and even broke his arm in one early fight. Way different era, but you knew this because you were trolling anyway, so no worries.Comment

Unless he plans to keep moving up weight classes and fighting 15 times a year, I don't see how it could be possible.Comment

But for real had a drink and haven't read much, Harry Greb is obviously a stretch for anyone to live upto these days in any sport, he was a phenom, but at the same time Lomachenko is a boxer who is challenging himself and wants to put himself in a realm of greatness and that is clear, he is the kind of boxer any fighter should live up to given his credentials, ****ing incredible, he see's the sport as the sweet science that it is and is a perfect example of a boxer who has dedicated his life towards it which is rare nowadays, he will leave this sport with a legacy wether as great as Greb or not this kid is aiming for hights which most will not settle at and it should be appreciated by us all, when was the last time we honestly had a boxer as daring as he ?, be it 2 gold medals and what have you no one has jumped into challenging such opposition as quick as this kid has, he's something to aspire to for amateur boxing and given the changing climate in his short career he's 100% made an impact on the sport.
Again naming Lomachenko alongside Greb is a huge stretch and I can see the see the sarcasm in the thread, don't get me wrong I still find it amusing with all the Loma fanboys and whathave you, but the kid deserves his just for the effort, just think we're still at the beginning, be happy we are witnessing him now, if he ever fights in the UK or China I'm buying front row seats if it means selling my dog, this man is greatness in the building and I don't say it lightly, I want to see this **** live.Comment

He's a phenom and one of the most impressive guys I've seen live. I am not saying this to brag but seeing him up close you appreciate him even more. I've seen a lot of greats live - Trinidad, Marquez, Pacquaio, Calzaghe, Mayweather, Golovkin, Chocolatito, Barrera, Morales etc; and Loma might be the most unique and fun experience to see live.Comment
