Yeah. And I don't know if it's all the TV I watch now, but my attention span can only last about 10 these days.

That's why some of these long 4 hour shows kill me.

What do you mean by 4 hour shows? You mean boxing matches or ball games that last that long? Yeah, good thing for DVRs. Back in the day, I even used to love to tape and DVD record or get someone online to do it and mail it to me.

No doubt we have become a sound bite culture, even important national events can't seem to keep the nation's attention pass a three days news cycle, (me included) but yet there is a paradoxical new thing called 'binge watching' where people sit and watch multiple episodes of a TV series, hour after hour (me included). I wonder how it is we can create such contradictory behaviors.

A boring fight doesn't keep my attention for three rounds, a great fight and 15 goes by in a flash.

Yeah I can only sometimes binge watch if it's a half hour comedy show. But I usually only watch part of an episode and watch the rest the next day on DVD or watch one or two episodes. I tend to remember what happened a lot better that way. I do like that full seasons are released all on the same day though. For years, I was hoping that would happen instead of waiting a week or longer between episodes.

Oh yeah. I gave up on those a while ago. Just about everything I watch is pre recorded now, except maybe a Giants NFL game or the Super Bowl.

So, he went to Jose Sulaiman and told him to reduce the title fights to 12 rounds.

WBA and IBF ( USBAI then ), did not follow right away b/c they held their ground.

WBC kept claiming they did it for safety reasons.
                  WBA and IBF finally caved-in.

                    Sorry, no links.
All I know is I read all about that bullsh8 on Flash Gordon's periodical back in the days . And it made a lot of sense then . Flash also exposed Don King and Jose Sulaiman stealing Bobby Chacon's belt .
