No, but the Tyson sob story is the most overplayed argument in all of boxing(And some people still seem to talk about it as if it's something profound that nobody ever heard of) He's not the only one who had a ****ty upbringing in boxing and some fighters had it even worse without it supposedly crippling them to this extent.

It seems like every Tyson thread inetivably ends up with everyone talking about how sad he was and they have a good cry together.

Tyson had much tougher fights against worse opponents than them. None of them would be easy.

like who? Not at his best he didn't. Tyson from the Spinks fight handles these guys with ease.

I don't disagree with that. But I think it's due to him being such a polarizing figure in the sport.

All I know is that Tyson at his best is one fighter that could've potentially beat any ATG heavyweight either by KO or forcing them to go into survival mode.

The dream fight I had in my head when Tyson first came back was David Tua - BOMBS AWAY

If Tyson was allowed to fight Holyfield in the summer of 1992 and the prison sentence didn't took place, Iron Mike will have a tune-up and most likely, sparring partner Oliver McCall gets to fight Tyson, another choice would be former WBO champ Francesco Damaini, whom the Tyson camp would surely agree to fight.

                      George Foreman
                      Vitali Klitschko

Also Young Lennox(misconceptions about his chin).

                      More punchers he didn't face:
                      Tommy Morrison
                      Shannon Briggs
young Wlad Klitschko, Hasim Rahman and Corrie Sanders.

How is it that all of these men were fighting around the time Mike Tyson was a top HW and he did not face a single one of them?

The only punchers Tyson faced were Frank Bruno and Donovan Ruddock. Both badly hurt him several times, neither of them could take a punch though they had heart, both frontrunners.

I went through this with Tyson fanboys lately. Their excuses for Tyson never facing one puncher with a good chin and instead fought a long line of bums and journeymen is because he was too busy with criminal activity, or he needed tune ups.

I think anybody who knows boxing knows that he ducked them. Tyson could not KO these guys on the top list, and he could not handle their answers as they could all hit him back hard.
I've updated this thread. I'd like to see some more answers on why Tyson ducked an entire era of good and dangerous HW's. Yet he doesn't have the reputation of being a duck.
