Posthumous pardons are hilarious understatements. Was it supposed to be wonderful that the Catholic church pardoned Galileo after 400 years? To make it meaningful the church could have worded its pardon as follows:

We are ashamed of past church fathers who with vitriolic and dogmatic reasoning persecuted Galileo for propagating scientific truth. They were de****able false men of God. We invite all Christians to join our shame circle in recalling them, as we strip them belatedly of their vestments.

There will be so much squalling that within a decade the name of the George Washington bridge will have to be changed to the name of some black 'un. What? No black 'uns named George Washington? I am sure there are plenty. The blacks will think what a nice ring the Martin Luther King junior bridge has to it.

Ol' Abe is an offensive fellow too. Blacks should not have to hear about his monument, after some of the statements he made about black 'uns. He jes wanted to preserve the union, he didn't care about black 'uns at all. The Caeser Chavez memorial has a much nicer ring to it, say the Mexicans. They would like the land back they stole from injuns just before us. Hear their unison cry--We stole it first!

the "pardon" that members of courts received for mistreating Johnson should be rescinded. THAT would be justice.

Cant see Trumpie doing that any more than Kennedy'd hand over the now surely illegally procured money that his family made from slavery. and dont say keenedys dead so how could he, both trump and him have a pretty large hole in the head, no difference.

Why not rename the GW to the Desiree Washington, since:

(1) Desiree goes both ways &
(2) She has a very busy upper & lower level with thrill seekers going in & out most of the day and
(3) As Mike Tyson can attest, you can't ride Desiree Washington back & forth without paying a heavy toll.
