And his Sugar Ray Robinson ability to hook with it is just unreal for a big heavyweight .
He had a freakish body, which is why the steroid rumors were always hovering over his head for most of his career.

He had to be on something.
And people don't know this, steroids ( some variants ) actually improves hand to eye coordination.
Why do you think even golfers were on that ****?

Barry Bonds' on roids was just way above anyone in the history of the game . Just imagine if they did not keep walking him that year ? He would have hit 80+ HR's.

Yep. Hell, pitchers even walked him sometimes when the bases were loaded.

--- BALCO Barry in Ruth's day minus his batting armor would quickly be reduced to a quivering plop of jelly.

Keep it real, and the reason pitchers walked him was 90% manager orders. Baseball is a bit sissy now with a prima donna
prissy like Bonds forced into retirement when he tore out his Achilles. Instead he got the wonders of modern rehabilitation allayed with a weight program and BALCO, and the rest is infamy.

Pitching during Babe's days were nowhere near pitching in the 90's and 2000's.
Back in Babe's days, only a handful of pitchers could throw 95 MPH. Now every team has several of them.
Babe did not have to deal with split finger either .

--- Time to study up son.

Babe still holds pitching and hitting records. Pitchers didn't last because of overuse. They had every pitch in the book and spit, shine, scuff, and cut balls and used the balls until they turned into black mush.

Up until the 60s baseball had the bonanza of the best athletes to chose from with lots of turnover because most the youth played baseball or boxed.

No more. I stopped watching the immaculate grooved game it's become, but I study it along with boxing, so your gonna have to do better than your modern rendition of ol' wives' tales!

How many blacks and latinos did he face?
Babe did not have to hit against specialty bullpen.
He faced worn-out and tired pitchers like you said.
                With worn-out balls.

--- Bad choice of extension you made.

Babe was quite popular with black and Latino fans when he barnstormed against their teams in the off season.

Now just you try to hit a black mushy baseball over the more expansive deadball parks in twilight conditions.

Give it up! Baseball has become a coddled sport of specialists and managers on computers calculating odds .

Babe, Lou, and Ted would have a field day stealing candy from you babies. No players before or since match that holy trinity.

Dariusz Michalczewski. The most punishing jab in boxing.
