10th Round to Dempsey

Brennan came back strong in the 11th...

Being that the New York Times is a newspaper....and the article is from 1920, and they give a round by round so that you know they looked at the fight....

Excuse me for going off topic: I did not know Dempsey won the Brennan fight with body shots. Didn't think of Dempsey as a body puncher.

Here is a slightly different account of the KO; there is no final 'right hand to the head' mentioned, as there is in the biography, just the body attack.

No. That's false. He did NOT come out of retirement just to fight Dempsey. As already stated multiple times he fought someone 3 months prior to Dempsey. He went on to fight a 20 fight win streak beating top contenders after the Dempsey fight.

It didn't say he came out of retirement JUST to fight Dempsey. It said he came out of retirement for a payday, and of course the Dempsey fight would have been a bigger payday, no?
