So how long were you present in those training sessions before someone realized you sitting there in the corner, breathing heavy, with your hands down your pants?

Did you ever make it to watching them in the showers, or were you always caught before then?

I attended Foreman’s training sessions at Great Gorge NJ on three consecutive days in 1974. Watched Frazier train at his gym several times in Philadelphia in 1975. Lyle and Shavers I watched train in 1976 on the west coast. I visited Ali’s camp in Pa dozens of times between 74-78.

Attended Ali Norton 3 in 76. Watched most every major fight between 1971-2000 live.

Met Ali to have brief conversations with him several times. Had a drink with Duran at a club at the Playboy club in north NJ prior to his bout with Hagler.

As a youngster traveling with my father who was close to the sport met Patterson, Graziano. My father was a good friend of Billy Graham whom we visited at his home on Long Island numerous times.

In my 20’s into my 30’s belonged to several boxing gyms in the NY metropolitan area.

        Tell everyone your boxing credentials.

I met Patterson too, post-career though.
          So humbled, so nice.
If you didn't know, you could never have guessed he had been a professional and brutal fighter.
