To me, of the names mentioned, Roger Mayweather (as a fighter; I have no interest in the non-participant inductees) is the the only one who might be worthy. He was an important journeyman; for his time he filled the role of a Charley Burley or a Bennie Briscoe (one in, one not). I think there should be a 'great contenders' category and he should be recognized for his contribution.

P.S. If Mancini and Gatti are in so should Roger be.

It's crazy because those hits don't always effect you right away. When Roger retired from Boxing he was still sharp, witty, fast talking, all that stuff. But as he got further in age he starting slurring a lot more and just getting slower and slower and now he's at a state where he can't put coherent sentences together. It shows the after effects of boxing can hit you years down the line, a fighter can think they have retired with all their faculties but it's not always the case.
Didn't Roger also do some drugs in his time?

I think both he and Floyd Sr. sold and used more than their fair share of drugs.

I am glad to know they were working men.

Must be why they're barely coherent these days.
