Cotto is a good fighter but he is not an elite boxer by any means. What top twenty weight class is he in?
He did well against Shane & Zab but was shut out by the current era's elite. (Floyd & Manny) He beat Sergio who was a shell of his best.
Nice little fighter but he is not an ATG.
Freddie Roach did a great job reviving Cotto and deserves
    applause for his work.

Appears Cotto vs. Trinidad Sr. feud broke out after Sr. claimed his son was like the guiding force that exploded Puerto Rican boxing.

Roach is wrong. Trinidad for one was better but there have been others who were superior to Cotto.

And Felix Sr is wrong too if he thinks Tito started some boom for Puerto Rican boxers. He's forgetting the guys who paved the way for his son...Hector Camacho for example was a superstar who flashed very brightly for a time.

          Fully agree on Camacho.
