Monzon, in a close fight. Marvin was probably a better, and more talented fighter, but I don't think he was as tough as he made himself to be, and psychologically, was a bit weak. And Monzon would take advantage of that.

Monzon was the superior ring general. He always made it the kind of fight he wanted. Marvin had one gear. Though Marvin would beat any of Monzon's opponents, I do not think he would beat Monzon, who would win very closely. There is a solution to that, of course--hold the fight in Las Vegas.

Hagler. Monzon's biggest wins came against lesser opposition who were either not in the same league or past their prime. Napoles, Benvenutti and Griffith were washed up, and there weren't any real notable wins on Valdes' resume to indicate he was a tremendous win.

I think the best version of Hagler gets inside and out works Monzon to a UD victory.

Who cares. Hagler was over-rated and got his best wins against smaller guys coming up. He quit like a bítch when he got exposed by a guy coming up two classes and out of the sport for two years.

As for the Leonard fight it should be taken into account how old and how long hagler had been fighting for.

If Hagler was the real deal he would have ended Duran.

Imagine what RJJ in his prime at 154 would do to Morales at 154. He would have starched him and Morales might be the greatest Mexican fighter ever talent wise.

Not even RJJ, even Kelly Pavlik vs Morales at 160. Brutal slaying.
