Has anyone in this thread actually watched the rumble in the jungle? Muhammad Ali hardly lost a round, and beat Foreman up 'While Humiliating his power'.

If the fight was staged in america, in a cooler climate? Foreman would be in even more trouble.

You have not watched the fight in full, Muhammad Ali won 4 of the first 5 rounds Half way through the actual fight Ken Norton ringside, predicated that 'Muhammad Ali was going to stop George Foreman'

It is a myth that Muhammad Ali just laid on the ropes 'Ali beat Foreman up for the large majority of the fight'

It is quite clear that you have only seen the classic Documentary 'When We Where Kings' which has influenced people's perception of reality.

I was given that documentary as a Christmas present as a kid 'Many years later I watched the full fight footage of the Rumble in the Jungle, I was completely shocked? Muhammad Ali pretty much from the opening bell was clearly the better fighter, round after round he was humiliating and beating Foreman up.

If the fight was staged in america, in a cooler climate? George Foreman would of been in even more trouble.

Yeah, George was doing well, but it's not like this was a Heavyweight version of Robinson-Maxim.

Foreman was meeting a man who could match him for size and strength for the first time, and it showed.

That said, George does claim **** Saddler slipped him a Mickey.

Do you believe George was, as he claims, drugged?
