So many belts that anyone worth a damn has gotten some sort of title shot.. at least in the modern era..

I really can't think of a heavyweight contender in the last 40 years that didn't get some sort of 'title' shot

The WBO was a junior title back in the day and if your not a WBA or WBC title holder the WBO IBF WWF are all just letters in a row!

With the increase in alphabet soup, vis a vis titles, it becomes very easy for a man to hold a title. Even Charlie Zelenoff has a title!

To be worthy champion you'll have to have title shot first, Helenius doesn't have one even though he destroyed 3 former champions.
