What about John "Jack" Broughton 1725-1767 was Bare'Knuckle Champion of englad for over 20 years!!! and wwas a man to set up boxing rules (one of first),He never lost a fight in 42 years ,he came up with idea to use gloves,a true legend of boxing,Well pick is to hard boys.So many fighters i cant know them all, some of theyr resumes are hard to check, some are overrated some not.

you dont need to call us no real fans ,cuse i dont know any ppl who rate Eubank so high,Toney faced better fighters than Eubank faced man.
Toney had a good solid middleweight run but from 160-168 3 of the best guys at that time were Eubank, Watson and Benn. Eubank would beat the other 2. That just leaves Toney, which didn't happen but Eubank was the money man in the division and Toney didn't want to come here. His loss.

And I'm not saying you're not a real fan, I'm saying people in general on here aren't so won't understand or even know how good Eubank was. They will however vote for guys in black and white because they think it makes them sound smart.

Having said that I can understand votes for Fitzsimmons over everyone else because he was a genuine pioneer in this sport.

John "Jack" Broughton 1725-1767 was even bigger pioneer then Bob,check him out

i get what you saying here about some fans here,i made this thread and if you will read all post here ,you will see how many names i learned here ,and keep learning,When Iron Dan asked my about Wilde resume,i made deep research(keep doing when i have time).i just dont think that Eubank achived as much in boxing as this guys, his great fighter no daubt.but i love threads like this when i learn alot.i will never know all good fighters but i allways can try,Memphis Pal Moore resume is gold mine of knowwladge on flyweight post WW1,im glad that Dan asked about Wilde resume lol.

Maybe I just really like the Nonpareli win, the jump to Corbett win then going down to win the LHW. That feat impresses me but I do get your thinking. A lot of Bob's resume is incomplete like Wilde's.

That said, I'd say Fitzsimmons resume is definitely better than Wilde's.

I really don't think you're going to find many people who think Memphis Pal Moore has a better resume than Marvin Hagler.

I don't really think so. Some good wins of course, resume isn't that deep.

Also, surprised no one has mentioned Carl Froch.
He's clearly one of the all time British best imo.
