Don't hate him, just don't rate him. Very weak resume.

Sure, there are plenty who are in the HOF who deserve it even less. But if we are talking about a group of fighters who you could argue shouldn't be in there then obviously Cazlaghe is amongst those names.

        Erm, I wouldn't vote him.

Ricardo Lopez. If he was a 147lber or a HW there would be a statue of him in Mexico somewhere.

The truth is that Lopez, as good as he was, he never faced an elite fighter.

How many 105lb elite fighters have their been in the history of boxing? Not a whole lot at the same time I imagine. Or at least ones deemed elite by the masses who give lil respect to the lil guys to begin with.

So that said & not really argued regardless of the level I agree or disagree with that remark I personally believe Lopez's excellence is based on his high level boxing talent, his decade long reign as a champion + his near perfect record that is only marred by a headbutt technical draw that was corrected 8 months later.

He sure was a really balanced and almost complete boxer, but his opposition doesn't help his legacy among the greatest who probably aren't undefeated but that's because they faced better opponents, there were plenty of fighters that he could have faced in some higher divisions, even though i'm not a person that pushes fighters to move up, there was no reason to stay in a division on which he beat all the top fighters.

Everything is relative in boxing. The 2nd best guy in your division could be the 150th best guy P4P. Not much you can do about that, your healthy weight is your healthy weight.

And I also think the move up for legacy angle with fighters is overstated nowadays when we are in the post-Leonard/ODLH/Mayweather & nearly Pacquiao era where you're seen as nearly nothing in ATGness if you didn't win titles in at least three divisions. I think titles are bs these days & Lopez was THE BEST guy in 2 divisions which is more than many of the guys who've won titles in 3, 4 or 5 divisions can say.

All of these guys were legit world champ p4p guys at their peak, but never really get spoken about when talking about great fighters
Good list except for Tarver. 2 losses to Dawson and basically shut out by Hopkins. 31-6 record
