If I was Hearns I would have been scared to fight Hagler after I looked in a mirror.

But back in the day most boxers showed up looking like one big muscle, unless you're talking Gerry Cooney.

Big Baby Miller has a terrible body for a boxer today, there is no excuse for him to weigh in at 300 lbs.

Best body hands down Kell Brook, lean, hard muscular body with good posture, he has the type of body that looks good in fitted shirts and tailored suits.

Wrestling used to have this, given out by Jesse Ventura. It was called The Jesse "The Body" Award. Brook looks like a good candidate.

I do not trust any modern boxers to be drug free in their acquisition of muscle. I believe Kenny Norton was free, and I am not sure about Holyfiled. Holy may be a steroid bull.

            Steroid bulls do not count.

I watched a documentary the other night in which Cus D'amato said Ali had the perfect body for boxing.

In certain photos one gains a notion of just how hard the top boxers are. They are all pretty hard. Boxers are harder than anyone, because they had better be!

For sheer hardness, many mentioned so far are contenders, and some of my own past picks, but I want the champion to be drug free. The hardest drug free boxer I am aware of (and I believe he was the hardest of them all anyway) was Rubin Hurricane Carter. I once chose many of the others above for this title, until I re-discovered Rubin. He out-hardens even the steroid bulls. You do not have to like him, just look at him.

However, I kind of agree that the best body for boxing is the Ali/Robinson type. That is the one that gives some natural built-in advantages, if you learn how to use them. Not many champions are short for their division in their era. Great fighters like Duran can transcend natural barriers.

Well Marciano and Armstrong had the wrong physique for the sport...short arms and squat builds. So they invented a different way of winning, now thats ingenuity! Galenta was all "hard fat" a type of build we don't see anymore, but he got the job done.

Guys who had the long lean muscle had advantages before the bell rang. Guys like Ali Jack Johnson, etc.

I agree his height and reach were incredible for his weight. He also had an imposing upper body. I think many opponents would have a hard time believing he was in there weight class which I feel would be terribly intimidating.

If we're talking current, the best body goes to either Brook or Bradley, maybe even wlad.

Worst is obviously arreola or that fat Mexican American hw.

Easter Jr at 135 comes to mind. I know 24 hour rehydration helps but still, less than 10 stones at 5'11" is remarkable and freaky.
