I'm sure there are plenty of managers, trainers and cutmen who can tell stories about being ripped off by fighters too.

I'm not saying fighters are angels but this is a thread about promoters and that was why my response was what it was.

Ora Forman, Promoter 1920's 1930's

My great grandfather is Ora Forman. The Forman Arena in San Jose CA was named after him. He promoted in San Jose during the 20's and then moved to Oakland and put on some big fights there. I have newspaper clippings and pictures galore
