Sonny is deliberately vague about "world class opposition" fancy that...

So he can now make sure that every Lewis victory is more or less explained away.

      lewis beat

      Morrison

      Razor Rudock

      Evander Holyfield

      Tua

      Vitalie Klitsko

      The foul pole

Thats some of them...Some of them not all.

It is your opinion Lewis record is filled with world class opponents. However if you do not list those "Prime Opponents" then Lewis cannot be taken seriously in historical terms.

Nice move....so now its opponents in their prime, is that what you mean? or is it world class opposition? Your so transparent its like shelling peas. Anything to piss on Lewis huh?

lewis, in addition to beating world class opposition, took on many young lions in their primes, guys like Grant, who was considered dangerous at the time, etc.

Again Bill, you are completely Wrong, and making a fool of yourself. The thread asks "PRIME OPPONENTS" not world class or second class, it say's "Prime opponents" which means exactly how i defind the opening thread question: Rid**** Bowe beat Prime` Holyfield (twice)

Foreman - beat Prime Frazier, Norton & Moorer

Tunney - beat prime Dempsey (twice) Greb (four times)

Are you claiming your list of Lewis opponents were "In their Prime" ?

I have not mentioned Lewis on this thread, i only listed a handfull of ATG Heavyweights.. Lewis has been brought into the equation by other posters lol

Bill, as i explained earlier, the thread question is "Prime World Class Opposition" which means, fighters who were "in their prime" "At the Top of their Game"... and stop claiming i am piss on Lewis. I never mentioned Lewis, Others brought him into the equation. But if you cannot name "Prime" opponents Lewis fought, then he has to be eliminated from the list historically.

                By whom?
You? Mainstream sports critic's? Hall of fame fighters? Educated fans rather than trolls?
Who is it that can't take Lewis's record seriously?

Sorry Bill, but you know as well as i know, that none of the boxers you have listed, were "In their Prime" or "At the top of their game" when they fought Lewis..Let's take a look shall we Bill.

Morrison - HIV had been leveled in less than a round by Michael Bent

Ruddock - Had taken 2 frightfull beatings from Tyson, was Damaged Goods and never through a punch in the fight. Pathetic effort from completely "Shot" fighter..

Holyfield - Shell of his former self, unable to fight 3 minutes of a round. Lewis should have gotten decision in first fight. Holyfield Robbed second fight.

Tua - Fattest man to ever fight for title (250lbs) mediocre fringe contender on the downslide and 25lbs overweight.

Klitschko - Debate still rages on today, about this fight. Did Lewis beat him or was Vitali robbed?... Lewis promised the entire boxing world, he would fight a rematch lol.

The foul pole - nothing other than a journeyman, who never beat a single fighter ranked in the Top 30

Bill, you forgot to add the name Mike Tyson to this list or was that intentional ?

So you're sticking with Dempsey being prime against Tunney?

Also Greb and Tunney never fought at HW, Greb was always well within the LHW limit.
