Did Jack Johnson really throw the fight against Willard?

    jack Johnson was having some mediocre performances in Europe prior to losing in Cuba. comparing Dempsey Johnson one must figure out what there respective primes were and how there styles would interact.

      In the documentary I watched he said he was shielding his eyes from the sun and wasn't really hurt, but yeah I agree with you. It was pride.

        the man was ridiculed for much of his title reign i think his legacy was very important to him

            Jack Johnson was one of the bottom 3 most featherfisted boxers of all time and lost to Willard, a circus freak, simply because he was not strong enough to fight him and proper boxing skills were many years away from being invented.
