Yep it was the lead up to Holyfield fighting MVP. Or I believe Hardy/MVP with Holyfield in Hardy's corner.
Sorry, I meant Holyfield fought Hardy replacing MVP who had a heart condition. Here's what it said on Wikipedia:
MVP challenged Hardy to a boxing match at Saturday Night's Main Event, however MVP was legitimately diagnosed with the heart condition Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. Since MVP was unable to compete, Hardy faced his replacement, former world champion boxer, Evander Holyfield. The match ended in a no contest after MVP entered the ring to verbally abuse Holyfield, who then knocked him out.Last edited by Anthony342; 08-18-2015, 02:49 AM.Comment

It still takes mad talent to perform all the moves rehearsed or not.. But, while I may tune in every once in a while to see the action and whats going on I really dislike that they don't even try to present it more like a sport like years ago.. Way too comical and soap opera for my taste.. I wish they'd at least tone the show aspect of it down to how it was in the mid 80's..Comment
