Ali's jab is one of the fastest considering the weight class he was in.

LOL YES IT WAS FUNNY ...but really Ali's jab was good but it has never been thought of as on the same level as HOLMES and LISTON'S. These guys could KO people just off a jab Ali would just break you down and cut you up with his

True, Ali's jab could cut up almost anyone's face. It had so much snap and effect.

Actually some good follow up, but I'd add Ali jab wouldn't fare well by modern Compumonkey punch numbers in his first itineration. He skeetered around throwing blizzards of wasted jabs sorta like Leonard's Popkorn flurries designed to WoW the lowbrows filling in the scorecards.

When Ali chose to actually start fighting his jab was quite effective just as Leonard was when he set down on his punches.

I'd rather see the picture of you blowing Canelo. C'mon, bring it out!

The speed of Ali’s jab was scientifically measured vs the speed of SRR jab. Ali’s jab was much quicker.

Ali’s jab was far superior to Listons. Not only would Ali’s jab cut opponents to ribbons it was so quick it was difficult to slip. Ali’s lateral movement allowed him to hit opponents at angles. Listons jab was thrown one dimensionally straight on to an opponent. Louis could use his jab boxing cleverly while circling as could Holmes.

I think they used film footage and counted the frames; not as if it was a radar gun.

IMO Holmes' jab was more effective.

It was a scientific test determined by film footage of both fighters. It was run by one of the major film laboratories.

Holmes did not have the movement of Ali so his jab like Listons was more one dimensional. Ali’s jab combined with his lateral movement was a weapon that few could evade as opponents were hit from every possible angle.
