Footage was shot in all these scenarios and then SUPPOSEDLY put through a super computer (sounds like the Balboa movie lol) which decided who would have won.

It is a very interesting scenario and I'm surprised it hasn't been repeated in modern times.
    - -Must be too old for modern boxing computer simulation games.

    They're mentioned in the thread.

Title of the thread is interesting in its irony, considering the OP later did get banned himself.

Thing is Ali is rated as the greatest of all heavyweight champions. Been that way for 40 plus years. No sign of this changing yet.

Ali did state years later that Marciano was a greater fighter than Frazier. Also that he did not know who would win between he and Rocky prime vs prime.

Ali stated “just playing at the end of the day I could not raise my arms”.

              - -First IBRO ratings had Joe #1. That stood for 15 yrs until the 2020 results came out.

Enough Louis ol'Timers had kicked the bucket to now crown Ali #1

When enough Ali ol'Timers kick the bucket, gonna be a new champ.

The question that was posed was regarding Ali’s ATG status. The answer to that question is that Ali has been rated No 1 greatest heavyweight champion since the mid 70’s. He is universally considered the best today by all noted boxing historians. It’s not a debatable question.

OP sounds like a spacko, but I do agree with him in principal.

Any argument against Ali being the no.1 greatest HW of all time is extremely flawed.

He has the most depth to his resume (more top 10/top 5/ top 3 Ring Ranked contenders beaten than any other HW), he beat the most ATGs (including several definite top 10ers in Frazier, Foreman, and a borderline top 10 in Liston) and he beat them at or very near their peaks.

He had the drawing power to get anyone he wanted in to the ring, and he had cast iron bollocks to want to fight all the best guys when it mattered.

                      - -Walked out on a MSG contract with Bobick, turned down the $5mil purse to rematch Foreman in Indonesia for a ham and egg $1 mil fight against Wepner who George as a novice fighter knocked out in 4 rds. Ali got beat up.

Post George he stunk on too many occasions to count. Was U the ones egging him on so enfeebled such that the punishment led to his tagic Parkinson's syndrome?
